Social Events
The Foundation holds monthly social events for adult clients, family members, friends and guests. The 2011-2012 social events calendar:

Additional activities and events may be available throughout the year. Recent activities have included an arts workshop, a trip to see a Fort Myers Miracle baseball game, and a tasting and tour at the Royal Scoop Homemade Ice Cream Shop. Recreational Events
Every week we conduct a bowling league for our developmentally disabled adults with an annual banquet where every participant receives a trophy.

Bonita Springs Lions Club - The Foundation For the Developmentally Disabled has a group of special friends at the Bonita Springs Lions Club. For the past several years this organization has sponsored our bowling league and awarded us grants. We in turn want to support the projects the Lions sponsor to generate funds for citizens in need. Activities include:
- Farmer's Market/Flea Market - Bonita Springs Middle School - Every Saturday A.M.
- Lions Thrift Store - Old Bonita - Pennsylvania Ave. W. - W, Th F and Saturday
- Pancake Breakfast - Lions Center - Pennsylvania Ave. W. - Jan, Feb and March, Saturday morinings 7:30 A.M. until 10:30 A.M.
